In their early childhood, these two sisters were sent to Sunday school. But as the years went by they both drifted away from the Lord. A house fire in 1983 took the lives of two of Normas children. This tragedy drove her into depression and drinking. When her mother was sick with cancer, Norma started to think again about the Lord and her eternal destiny.
