The author of Hebrews points out that in the Old Testament God spoke to His people through the prophets, but in the last days He spoke through His Son Jesus Christ. Bible teacher Bill Jackson says that Jesus is the focal point of the Scriptures. Using 1 Timothy 4:8, he corrects the thinking some people have about eternal life. Eternal life isnt a life in the future. It starts when people commit themselves to live by the Word of God as Jesus did.
