The Bible says, "All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." Alexa and her husband Walter were the first Native Christians on the St. Marys Reserve and experienced this. As she grew in her love of God, and depended on His protection, Alexa refused to let peoples hateful acts dampen her spirit of witnessing to those around her.
