While living in Yellowknife, NWT, the Lord opened the door for Phoebe to hear the Gospel from her Christian friend and sister-in-law. She was encouraged to read the Bible and talk to Christians, which led her to understand what it meant to be born again. She continues to grow in her new found faith through Bible study and youth ministry.
