Wow! I’m Special (Lorene Chalifoux #1)
Raised in northern Alberta, Lorene Chalifoux was placed in foster care when she was seven years old. Moving from home to home, she didn’t feel like she belonged anywhere, or was loved by anyone. She says it was hard for her to trust, but through local missionaries she learned that Christ loved her, and she began to feel that she did matter to someone after all. Later, even after suffering in an abusive marriage, she still believes Christ loves her and protects her. Through prayer and her conscious choice to forgive, Lorene is able to rise over the hurdles she faces each day.
Music: Thomas Kutluk, Debby Toovey, Bill & Shirley Jackson
