After years of traveling with SonRise Gospel Band, Howard returned to Moose Factory to minister to youth and serve as a pastor. Then he and his wife, Karen, moved to Manitoba for further education, where he became pastor of a First Nations church, and also involved in the “Rising Above” ministry. The church and his family support him unconditionally, he says, and he wants to share that love with other people.
