As a child, Annette experienced a lot of alcoholism in her home and violence in the community. She had a very sad teenage life – abuse and rejection filled her with rage and hatred, especially toward men. She accepted Christ, but only followed the Lord briefly. This was followed by what she describes as "16 years of hell" ... until she was restored to a vital relationship with the Lord! In Gods timing, she was reconciled with her father.
