Fist part of this series. For many years Barry McColman was doing what everybody else did: like drinking, partying, smoking and using drugs -- he thought it was normal. But the Word of God brought conviction, and brought about a 180 degree turn. This repentance and change also led to his involvement in summer missions, and he tells us what he learned. Barry grew up with a belief in God, but his confession was not backed up with a godly lifestyle. For many years Barry was doing things that others did, like drinking, partying, smoking and using drugs -- he thought it was normal. But God intervened in 2003 when Barry was invited to church services in Barrie (ON). The Bible messages there convicted him of his sin and caused him to turn to Christ for salvation. Today Barry lives a life of repentance.
